Setting up a CKD assembly line is one thing; making it hit its production targets is another. The discipline that gets you there is takt time — the pace at which finished stoves must come off the line to meet demand. Here is how to plan capacity and scale it up.
Takt time is the available production time divided by customer demand. If you have 480 working minutes a day and need 120 stoves, your takt time is 4 minutes — one finished stove every 4 minutes. Every workstation must complete its task within that cycle.
The line is only as fast as its slowest station. If the gas-connection station takes 6 minutes while everything else takes 3, the whole line runs at 6. Balancing means reallocating work so no station exceeds takt time. THREEMI helps you map each assembly step and balance the workload.
Do not try to hit full capacity on day one. A phased ramp-up is the proven path:
Track output per hour, first-pass yield, and station cycle times. Use the data to rebalance the line and remove bottlenecks. THREEMI supplies CKD kits plus assembly and equipment guidance, so you can plan capacity realistically and scale from a pilot run to a full local manufacturing operation.
