Most buyers understand that nozzle aperture changes with gas type, but fewer account for a quieter variable that matters just as much: supply pressure and the regulator. Get this wrong and even a correctly "sized" nozzle will under- or over-fire. Here is how pressure, regulator, and aperture work together.
A nozzle is a calibrated orifice. It meters gas by relying on a known pressure drop across the opening. Change the upstream pressure and the same aperture delivers a different flow rate. That is why LPG — supplied at roughly 28–30 mbar in many markets — uses a smaller aperture than natural gas, which arrives at about 20 mbar.
The regulator fixed at the cylinder or the mains reduces supply pressure to the level the appliance is designed for. If a distributor supplies a nozzle sized for 28 mbar but the end customer runs a 50 mbar regulator, the burner over-fires — tall yellow flames, sooting, and wasted gas. If the pressure is too low, the flame starves and cooks poorly.
Because pressure standards differ by country, a well-stocked distributor carries the full aperture span. THREEMI supplies nozzles in 16 sizes from 0.45mm to 1.35mm, all on a unified M6x0.75 thread, factory-direct by the carton. With the full range on hand you can serve LPG and natural gas markets — and every pressure standard in between.
